What are our compatible capsules made of?
The hulls of the compatible capsules are in PBT + TPE. The operculum contains a thin layer of aluminum to ensure perfect preservation.

We only sell to the end customer, so we only work from our Meyrin shop, and through our website.
Do your coffees contain mycotxin (Ochratoxin A)?
The research of Mycotoxins (Ochratoxin A) is carried out regularly for different varieties of roasted coffees.
In addition, various researches of pesticide residues are also made on the roasted coffee (more than 250 pesticides are searched each time). The results of these analyzes have always been consistent and comply with the legislation.
What is coffee degassing?
Degassing is the chemical reaction that occurs when coffee is roasted. Degassing is even more important after roasting. This is where the quality of extraction is played out.
What is an organic coffee?
An organic coffee is a coffee that respects the environment and what surrounds it. We talk about respect for the land, the land, the workforce, the producers, and the entire coffee production chain, from the plantation to the final sale to the customer. How long does the accreditation of a producer of organic coffee last?

How are we sure that a coffee is organic?

How does a producer produce organic?
A producer who decides to produce organic produce will have to invest his time and money in the process. This conversion lasts three years, during which the producer must produce organic to prove the beneficence of its products, without selling them organic.
How are the organic and standard coffees differentiated in plantations?
Once accreditation is obtained, the producer has the obligation to identify each organic tree. Coffee trees must be planted on a different and distant terroir of standard coffee. Each tree must be tagged, plots, varieties and lots also.
What is a Single Origin Coffee?
A Single Origin coffee comes from a single geographical area. The coffee can be composed of different varieties. It is the producer who decides on the composition of his coffee.
A Blend coffee is a deviation from the Single Origin coffee. The blend is created by the roaster, after the producer creates his Single Origin. A Blend is a composition of many different origins.
What is a specialty coffee?
Specialty coffee is a higher quality coffee, judged to be at least 84/100. These coffees are produced and selected for their variety and rarity. It is a pure variety produced on a single piece of land. These coffees are identified up to the plot to ensure complete transparency and traceability. The harvest of coffee is 100% manually to guarantee the quality of the selection.

Why are some coffee packages puffed up ?
Once the coffee is packaged, a dose of nitrogen is added to protect the coffees from oxidation, and to ensure efficient preservation. However, the carbon dioxide which is released from the beans during roasting will continue to be released in the bag. It is then the degassing valve (one-way) that will allow the carbon dioxide to escape, blocking the entry of oxygen.
What is the "little button" on coffee packages?
This is a so-called "one-way" degassing valve that allows the coffee gas (once roasted) to exit the packet of coffee, blocking the entry of oxygen. The degassing valve keeps the coffee, aromas and taste in the long term.
What is the level of caffeine in coffee?
Arabica coffee is composed of 1.2% caffeine, while robusta holds 2.4%.
How are roasting fumes (in the air) managed?
We recently modernized our roasting and changed our catalyst. It allows us to save 15% energy, while transforming the fumes into water, for cleaner and more sustainable fumes.
Can we consume a coffee with an expiration date passed?
If the package has not been opened or punctured, it is possible to consume your coffee after the expiry date. As the coffee has not suffered from oxidation, it is edible. However, over time, the coffee breaks down into aromas.
How do we roast our coffees?
We are 100% natural gas powered.
What are coffee packaging made of?
Our packaging is made of polyethylene for welding. An aluminum layer is added to play a protective role (anti oxidation and degradation of coffee). A last layer of polyester comes to play the role for the shine of the bag. Our coffee bags come from WIPF, a Swiss partner for 70 years.
Why should we protect green coffees?
Bags of green coffee are very sensitive and have a strong fear of humidity and bad smells. They should be stored away from light. This is why our roasting workshop has a green coffee cellar, 7 meters underground, to store all our varieties. This not only keeps our green coffees away from moisture and light, but also ensures stable temperature and hydrometry all year round.
What is the grind of choice?
On each coffee beans, it is possible to choose a personalized grind from 7 different grinds. The coffees are not available in pre-grinds, as they are ground on demand, just before being shipped to the Customer.
How are the coffees that I choose with personalized grinding managed?
When you choose a coffee beans with a custom grind, it will be ground and sealed just before shipping. This allows us to guarantee you optimal conservation of the ground coffee, until it is received at your home.
